Now based in Somerset, my focus is currently on felted and embroidered sculptures, pictures, and vases. I exhibit locally and am a member of the Cotswold Sculptors Association. I attend Mary Spyrou's class at Morley College, London.
I'm inspired by natural forms, and experiment with mixed techniques and media, including upcycled textiles such as tapestries. I'm happy to discuss special orders and requests.
I've been active in textiles all my life, having been brought up in a home full of yarn, but no TV. Our father was a research scientist in the Northern Irish textile industry.
Back in the 1980s I ran a handmade knitwear business, and I help my niece knit vintage patterns for her online business, Betty Sparkles.
